Working Principle
There are mainly two methods for ozone exhaust destruction: thermal destruction and catalytic reduction destruction.
Thermal destruction primarily involves heating the ozone exhaust gas to a high temperature (>270°C) using a heater, causing the ozone to instantly decompose into oxygen in a high-temperature environment, thereby achieving ozone destruction.
Catalytic reduction destruction mainly utilizes a specialized reduction catalyst, which significantly lowers the activation energy of the ozone decomposition reaction, decomposing it into oxygen and thus achieving ozone destruction.
The Longjing Xinlu exhaust gas destructor adopts a combination of auxiliary heating and catalytic technology, called a thermocatalytic exhaust gas destructor, which efficiently decomposes ozone into oxygen through synergistic effects. Its core lies in using auxiliary heating to remove the influence of moisture in the exhaust gas while simultaneously decomposing ozone into oxygen through the specialized reduction catalyst.
Note: Certain scenarios involving halides (such as chlorine, bromine, etc.) are not suitable for thermocatalytic exhaust gas destructors. Longjing Xinlu can provide non-standard designed thermal destructors according to requirements (with successful cases of stable operation already in practice)!
